The Division of Exchange Programs is established cooperatively by Dongfang International Center for Educational Exchange (Dongfang International) and U.S. non-profit official institution The Laurasian Institute (TLI). The division mainly operates U.S. Academic Year Program (AYP) for senior high school students and International Senior high school Preparation Program, etc.

Advantages of Division of Exchange Programs:
　　Programs funded by the U.S. government and promoted jointly by Sino-U.S. official institutions
　　The U.S. Academic Year Program (AYP) for senior high school students belongs to the programs of U.S. government. Through the AYP international student exchange opportunities funded by the U.S. government, Chinese high school students may go abroad to study in American public high schools for one year; all the students enter American public high schools to experience the U.S. education system and Western culture. In addition, the program is promoted jointly by Sino-U.S. official institutions in China.
　　Dongfang International, established in 2000, is an institution directly under China Scholarship Council (CSC) of Ministry of Education (MOE), devoted to developing programs of international cooperation and exchange and providing services for Chinese citizens going abroad and international students coming to China for studies. Established in 1990 and approved by the U.S. State Department, TLI is a non-profit institution, which is mainly devoted to the exchange of education and culture, and provides a variety of international and intercultural education programs. The Sino-U.S. Academic Year Program (AYP) for senior high school students, operated by Sino-U.S. institutions with official background, will have more reliability.
