Division of Art Study in East Europe was established in 2000 and has been mainly engaged in the deployment of art study programs in East Europe and the study programs of universities in Russia and Ukraine. It is the first to carry out professional overseas study program for art field, including music, fine arts, dancing, design and film and TV. The division provides a sound platform for the promotion of face-to-face exchange between Chinese art students and world-famous art institutions and actively develops channels for the Chinese students to enter these institutions. During the several years of practice, the division has successfully transmitted hundreds of excellent Chinese students to the world-famous art institutions in Ukraine, Russia, Australia and Germany, etc. and gained favorable appraisal for the domestic and overseas art institutions.

　　 The division has also been engaged in the deployment of cooperative schooling and exchange programs between Chinese and overseas art institutions. It organizes on-site recruitment conference for the famous art institutions in China every year and also invites foreign artists to hold lecture and deploy art exchange and other programs in China every year. To let the Chinese student be further acquainted with the overseas art education, the division specially established China Art Overseas Website, www.art-abroad.com, so that the students can know the practical and detailed information about the overseas art education system, etc. In 2004, the division transmitted 17 Chinese students to study in Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music and after completion of study they had 100% employment in China.

　　 Up to now, among the students whose cases the division has handled, over 100 of them have gained Master’s degree and tens of them have gained Doctor’s Degree. Dongfang International has established long-term sound cooperative relations with world-famous art institutions and has become the exclusive channel for student recruitment in China for many overseas universities.
