Dongfang International Center for Educational Exchange (Dongfang International), established by China Scholarship Council (CSC), is devoted to promoting international educational exchange and cooperation. It is one of the first groups of professional service organizations approved by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Public Security and is also a state-level accredited service institution registered with China State Administration for Industry & Commerce to provide cross-provincial services. 　　 CSC, founded in 1996, is a non-profit institution affiliated to Ministry of Education (MOE). It administers the organization, financial support and management of the Chinese citizens going abroad for studies and the international students coming to China, in accordance with the laws, regulations and relevant policies of China. It is engaged in developing China's exchanges with other countries in the fields of education, science and technology, strengthening the friendship and understanding between the Chinese people and the people all over the world, and promoting the world peace, global progress and the socialist modernization drive in China.

　　 Dongfang International was established in 2000 as a national level institution in China first granted the quality attestation for providing professional services to self-supported students. Under the supervision of CSC, Dongfang International, based on its strong sense of social responsibility, insists on its service objective of 'to serve the society and to cultivate the talents', carrying out specified management and professional operation fully in accordance with the relevant Chinese regulations. Having a strong emphasis on honesty & professionalism, Dongfang International has established a set of effective rules and strict operation criteria for the project management to provide standardized services with the transparency in fee-charging and the service procedures.

　　 Dongfang International has been actively involved in the promotion of the educational exchanges and cooperation between the educational institutions home and abroad by bringing in the high-quality overseas educational resources. It has established a wide range of exchange and cooperative relations with over 300 educational institutions and well-known colleges and universities in over 20 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Italy, UK, USA, etc. Its programs have covered every educational level of the overseas high-quality education ranging from high schools to Master's degree courses and from junior college courses to diploma courses, which can meet the demands of the students of different academic levels for studying abroad. Meanwhile, with the supports from the MOE and CSC, Dongfang International has also made full use of its advantages to increase the influence of the Chinese education in the International sphere. In the recent years, Dongfang International has successively cooperated with Edufrance in France, IDP in Australia and many other international institutions and has successfully held China higher education exhibitions in countries such as New Zealand, Vietnam, etc., which have obtained good effects and actively promoted the international educational exchange and the international talent training.

　　 Dongfang International has always been engaged in the purification of the study abroad market and the regulation on its own service behaviors. It takes the lead to use the demonstrative contract edition formulated by the MOE. Moreover, it initiated and later became a member of the Beijing Overseas Study Good Faith Service Convention; meanwhile, as an executive member of Beijing Overseas Study Service Association (BOSSA), Dongfang International has actively participated in the various activities organized by the association and made its due contributions for the promotion of healthy and orderly development of the overseas study service industry.
